What is "BAVOVNA" means? The terminology of the Ukrainian fight against russian machine of propaganda.
During the Russian war in Ukraine, the semantics of the word "cotton" became a symbol of indomitability and the will to freedom, and ironically aimed at dispelling Russian propaganda technologies. In the Ukrainian information space, the word "cotton" (хлопок - бавовна) parodies a crooked mirror of the machine of propaganda. 
It's no secret that Russian governmental media channels deliberately replace terminology for distort reality. For example, they call a "special operation" rather than use wold WAR. "Clap" is how the Russian propaganda media calls the word "explosion" when explosions occur on the territories occupied by Russia. In other words: "claps" were heard, not explosions.In Russian language the word "cotton" sounds and spelled the same as the word for "clap" - "хлопок" (in the meaning Cotton - ukr. бавовна / BAVOVNA)
