Design of Freedom is the most relevant design direction that was proposed to explore during the second edition of Kyiv Design Week in the exhibitionary complex Mystetskyi Arsenal.
It is a new "type" of design that concentrates power, responsibility, expediency, lust for life, self-identity - qualities with you can not separate from humanity and dignity. It combines the categories of objective and subjective demand, individual and collective influence.
The space within the Mystetsky Arsenal exhibition complex is organised in the form of a military tent. This is a very literal metaphor that shows, without further explanation, how the industry lives today - thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, creators continue to live and create, lay the foundations for the future, fight, coordinate and synchronise their freedom with the freedom of those around them.
The Design of Freedom space is a manifesto of vitality and hope, embodied in hours, months and years of human time, kilograms and metres of materials, in an attempt to share and exchange worldviews.
