Exploring Authenticity in the Surrealism of Our Time (Milan Design Week 2026)
A guided curatorial walk bringing together design, craft, functional art, and contemporary art practices.
Together, we visited selected locations of Milan Design Week, explored the history and ideas of Surrealism, and practised automatic writing. We connected these experiences with contemporary art and design, tracing the evolving presence and meaning of pink across visual culture. Through observation, reflection, and conversations with an industry expert and a designer, we explored new ways of interpreting contemporary creative practices.
